Yevhenii Kryvko
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our colleague, Category 1 specialist (angel at the station) Yevhen Kryvka, who tragically lost his life on October 29, 2026, during the events at the station.
Yevhen was born on January 30, 1988. He was only 38 years old. He was a loving husband and father of two sons: 9-year-old Illia and 3-year-old Danylo. For his family, he was a pillar of support, a caring husband, and a devoted father, with many unfulfilled plans, family joys, and happy moments ahead of him.
His railway experience was just four months, but in that short time, he became part of a large railway family, choosing a job that required not only responsibility but also a genuine desire to help people.
Yevhen worked as an angel at the station. This is how employees who greet passengers, help them navigate, support those in need of special attention, accompany people, and assist them in difficult circumstances are referred to. This job is characterized by care for individuals, their safety, and dignity behind every action.
During the evacuation, Yevhen assisted passengers. In moments of danger, when people needed support and help, he stayed by their side and performed his duties. His service to others took on a tragic significance: a person called to help others became a victim of hostile action.
Today, it is difficult to find words that can comfort the wife who lost her husband and the two young sons left without a father. It is impossible to come to terms with the fact that Yevhen will not return home, will not embrace his children, and will not witness their growth.
His death is an irreparable loss for his family, colleagues, and the entire railway community. Behind the brief entry in the personnel records lies a human life, paternal love, family dreams, and daily work meant to help people travel safely.
The bright memory of Yevhen Kryvka will forever remain in the hearts of those who worked alongside him. His dedication to people and assistance to passengers during the evacuation will remind us of the true essence of the work of angels at the station: to be there when a person needs help the most.
We express our heartfelt condolences to the family, wife, sons Illia and Danylo, relatives, friends, and colleagues of the deceased. We share your pain and bow our heads in memory of Yevhen Serhiyovych.
May his memory be eternal. Forever honored.
