Ihor Kozyarevich
Igor was born and lived in Kozyatin, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from Kozyatin Vocational Technical School No. 17 as an assistant locomotive driver. He worked on the railway as a fourth-category speed regulator and a fifth-category train assembler at the Fastiv station of the Kozyatin Directorate.
On September 1, 2021, Igor volunteered to defend his homeland in the ATO zone. He served as a driver-electrician in the sound measurement reconnaissance platoon.
43-year-old senior soldier Igor Kozyarevich tragically died on January 2, 2023, in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, as a result of a car accident.
Colleagues remember Igor as a very kind, sincere, positive, and responsible man. He was loved and respected.
The warrior was buried in the city cemetery on the "Alley of Glory."
The fallen defender is survived by his wife and two daughters.
The team of the Kozyatin Directorate of Railway Transport of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns the memory of their colleague with deep sorrow. His tragic death in a car accident while on duty is a painful and unjust loss for the entire railway family. We will forever cherish the memory of his courage and dedication.
