Ivan ZAYCHENKO

Ivan was born, lived, and worked in the city of Pomichna, Kirovohrad region. Since April 2021, he had been working as a repairman for rolling stock in the wheel-roller section at the Pomichna Repair Wagon Depot.

In December 2022, Ivan was called up for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ivan Ivanovych Zaychenko was killed while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine during a combat mission in Donetsk region in January 2023.

His colleagues knew him as a responsible and sincere person, who, due to his strong and decisive character, always commanded authority and respect.

Ivan is survived by a son.

The team at the Pomichna Repair Wagon Depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns the loss of their colleague with deep sorrow and respect. His strong character and dedication will forever be our example. Glory to the hero!
