Oleksandr Sulikovskyi
Oleksandr Viktorovych Sulikovskyi was born on August 28, 1985, in the village of Pivni, Fastiv district, Kyiv region.
In 2006, he began working on the railway, starting as a 2nd class trackman at the Fastiv track distance of the regional branch "South-Western Railway," and soon obtained a 3rd class trackman qualification. In February 2019, he resigned, but returned to the railway family just 10 months later.
Colleagues remember him as a dedicated, disciplined, and responsible worker who always treated others with respect. Thanks to his hard work and perseverance, Oleksandr quickly earned the respect of older, more experienced workers. Friends and colleagues fondly recall Sashko, whose kindness and faith in people were always unwavering. Oleksandr Sulikovskyi was very humane, hardworking, and balanced. He always approached his work diligently and never refused to help colleagues and friends. Oleksandr will forever remain in our hearts as he was – kind, smiling, honest, decent, responsible, and a great patriot of Ukraine.
With the full-scale Russian invasion on August 24, 2022, Oleksandr was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, serving as a rifleman-assistant grenade launcher in the 2nd mechanized section of the 2nd mechanized platoon of the 4th mechanized company of the 2nd mechanized battalion.
On April 7, 2024, Oleksandr was killed while performing a combat mission due to an explosive injury in the vicinity of the settlement of Sokil in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region.
He is mourned by his wife, two daughters, and sister.
The team of the Fastiv track distance deeply mourns the loss of their colleague, Oleksandr Sulikovskyi. We express our heartfelt condolences to his wife, daughters, and sister.
