Serhiy ROMANIUK

Serhiy was born in the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region. He dedicated 26 years of his life to the railway, working as a 4th class shooter in the cargo protection team at the Lozova station within the Kharkiv militarized security detachment.

During his time at work, he established himself as a diligent, persistent, and responsible employee. Colleagues always spoke warmly of him, noting his principled nature, ability to make decisions independently, and quick response to situations. He was respected and held in high regard by his team.

On March 4, 2022, Serhiy was called up for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the general mobilization.

Serhiy Serhiyovych Romaniuk was killed on February 3, 2023, while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine during the performance of his military duty in the village of Nevske, Luhansk region.

The team of the Kharkiv militarized security detachment of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns this irreparable loss. His perseverance and principled nature will forever remain an example for his colleagues. Eternal memory and honor to the defender!
