Yuriy Dziubrin
Yuriy was born and lived in the village of Shchurivtsi in the Khmelnytskyi region. Since April 2002, he worked on the railway, rising to the position of a released foreman for current maintenance and repair of tracks and artificial structures of the 5th category in the Shepetivka track division.
On February 28, 2022, Yuriy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a rifleman-paramedic in the 3rd mountain assault unit. He participated in the liberation of Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions, and was wounded by shell shock twice.
43-year-old Senior Sergeant Yuriy Dziubrin was killed on February 13, 2023, as a result of a mortar shelling in the area of the village of Bilohorivka in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region.
Yuriy was the life of the party both at work and in the army, where he encouraged his comrades. In civilian life, he loved fishing and often went fishing with his son. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the 3rd degree. In his honor, a street in his native village has been renamed and a memorial plaque has been unveiled.
Yuriy is survived by his parents, wife, son Denys, and daughter Anastasia.
The team of the Shepetivka track division of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns this irreparable loss. The bravery of a warrior who fought for Kyiv will forever remain in our hearts. Glory to the defender!
