Oleksandr LAZARENKO
Oleksandr worked as a gas equipment maintenance and repair locksmith of the 5th category at the production unit "Mykolaiv Locomotive Depot" of the "Odesa Railway" branch from November 2004 to March 2021, when he retired.
From December 2014 to January 2020, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
In 2016, he received the status of a combatant.
Oleksandr Lazarenko fought his last battle and was killed on April 2, 2022, in the center of the Southern region, sustaining injuries to several internal organs. Oleksandr was 58 years old.
He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
The team at the Mykolaiv Locomotive Depot of the regional branch "Odesa Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply honors the memory of the veteran locksmith. His 17 years of service on the railway and heroic defense of the homeland, which began back in 2014, are a testament to patriotism. The 58-year-old defender fell while protecting the south, leaving us with the duty to prevail. We share in the sorrow of his wife, children, and grandchildren. Eternal memory to the Warrior.
