Oleksandr Prykhodko
Oleksandr was born in the picturesque village of Berezniaky in the Cherkasy region. In 2017, he joined the railway, where he worked as a 5th-grade electric gas welder at the T. Shevchenko locomotive depot of the regional branch "Odesa Railway." His colleague Vitaliy Kovpak recalls that Olexandr approached his work responsibly, easily connected with his coworkers, and had many friends due to his kindness, generosity, and humanity.
Oleksandr Prykhodko fought his last battle on October 8, 2022, near the village of Davydov Brid in the Kherson region. The warrior will forever remain 35 years old...
He was a true patriot: on February 27, 2022, he voluntarily went to the military enlistment office and was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, serving as a driver in an infantry battalion. His stepfather remembers him as a good son with "golden hands" who loved life. Oleksandr dreamed of a big house for his family and a happy future for his daughter Ksenia.
Oleksandr is survived by his wife and daughter Ksenia.
The T. Shevchenko locomotive depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows its head in deep sorrow. A 5th-grade electric gas welder, a person with "golden hands," who was generous, kind, and responsible at work, voluntarily became a driver in the infantry battalion. He fell near Davydov Brid, defending his daughter Ksenia's right to a happy future. His bright patriotism and unfulfilled dreams are our shared pain. Glory to the Hero!
