Andriy Serhiyovych dedicated about 16 years to the railway transport sector. He began his career at JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" in 2017 and most recently worked as a manager in the Procurement Control and Contract Relations Department.

Employee of the Director's Office for Economic and Information Security at JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia," Andriy Serhiyovych Bliznikov was killed on July 7, 2023, in battle in the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, while carrying out a combat mission to ensure defense and repel the enemy's armed aggression.

Colleagues remember that the railway lost a specialist, a respected and intelligent person, and a reliable friend. Wherever Andriy Serhiyovych worked, he demonstrated exceptional professional qualities, dedication, internal organization, and a conscientious approach to his duties. In life, he was a kind and sincere person, always ready to respond to others' troubles.
