Andrii CHERNIAKOV
Andrii Cherniakov was born and lived in Kupiansk. In 2011, he graduated from the Kupiansk Medical College named after Maria Shkarletova.
In 2014, he began working for the Southern Railway as a train assembler of the 5th category at the Kupiansk-Pivdennyi station of the Kupiansk railway transportation directorate. Later, he became a 3rd category repair mechanic at the Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi station of the Kharkiv railway transportation directorate. Colleagues say that Andrii approached his duties diligently, earned the respect of management and staff, and was friendly and communicative.
32-year-old Andrii Cherniakov died on August 28, 2024, in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, as a result of a direct hit by an enemy KAB in the central part of the city. That day, Andrii had come with his belongings to the gathering point at the RTC and SP for further dispatch to training in Cherkasy.
Andrii is survived by his grandmother, Larysa Anatoliivna.
The team at the Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi station is deeply saddened by this terrible tragedy and extends heartfelt condolences to Andrii Cherniakov's family and loved ones. The bright memory of our colleague, who became an innocent victim of Russian aggression, will forever remain in our hearts.
