Andrii KULYK
Andriy Kulyk was born and lived in the city of Trostyanets in the Sumy region. He studied at the Okhtyrka College of the Sumy National Agrarian University. He later obtained a degree in heating, gas supply, and ventilation from the Kharkiv National Academy of Municipal Economy through distance learning.
In 2008, he began working on the railway as a second-class locksmith-plumber at the Smorodynskyi construction site of the Sumy construction and installation operational management of the Southern Railway.
In 2015 and 2016, Andriy participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and held a certificate as a Combatant. He then worked as a third-class locksmith-plumber in the maintenance and current repair section of the Smorodine station, part of the "Kharkiv Directorate" of the "Center for Construction and Installation Works and Operation of Buildings and Structures" of Ukrzaliznytsia.
On July 17, 2023, Andriy volunteered to go to the front to defend our land from the enemy once again. He served in the anti-aircraft missile platoon of the 4th Assault Battalion of the 5th Separate Assault Kyiv Brigade.
36-year-old Sergeant Andriy Kulyk was killed on September 30, 2024, near the village of Ivanivske in the Donetsk region.
Andriy was polite, communicative, and balanced, earning the respect of his colleagues as a qualified worker, they recall.
Andriy is survived by his mother and wife.
The team at the Center for Construction and Installation Works and Operation of Buildings and Structures deeply mourns the irreparable loss of our colleague. We will remember Andriy as a true professional and a brave defender of the Motherland. Eternal memory and honor to the Hero!
