Andriy Kuznetsov

Andriy was born and lived in the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region. In 2013, he joined Ukrzaliznytsia, working as a repair and maintenance mechanic for loading machines of the 4th category in the repair and tool shop of the "Panyutynskyi Wagon Repair Plant" branch.

Andriy had combat experience: from 2014 to 2015, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under contract. On February 25, 2022, he once again unhesitatingly took up arms to defend his homeland. He served in the Donetsk direction as part of the 122nd Separate Airborne Battalion of the 81st Separate Airborne Brigade of the Air Assault Forces.

35-year-old Senior Soldier Andriy Kuznetsov was killed on August 5, 2023, defending his native land from the occupiers near the settlement of Bohorodychne in the Donetsk region.

His loved ones recall that Andriy always displayed true masculine courage and determination, and was an honest and decent person.

For his heroism, Andriy Kuznetsov was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.

Andriy is survived by his wife and two minor children.
