Anzhela HAVRYUSHINA
Anzhela was born in Dnipro and graduated from the Dnipro Institute of Railway Engineers. She began her career in the railway sector in 1983 as an operator. Over the years, she worked as an accountant, a flaw detection operator, a passenger train conductor, and most recently as a 3rd category technology engineer in the production and technical department of the Dnipro track distance.
58-year-old Anzhela Havryushyna, a railway technology engineer, tragically lost her life on February 23, 2024, at her home in Dnipro during a drone attack when the enemy struck a residential nine-story building. Angela died instantly in her sleep when a Shahed drone crashed into her bedroom.
According to her daughter Yevheniya, Anzhela was a compassionate person who loved to dress well and had a refined taste. She dedicated much of her time to animal protection, fed stray animals, and had four cats. Angela took the war to heart, which led her into depression.
Anzhela came from a family of railway workers: her grandfather was a shunting locomotive driver, and her grandmother worked in the railway system. Her daughter is also employed in the railway sector.
Anzhela is survived by her daughter Yevheniya.
