Artem FEDORENKO

Artem was born and lived in the town of Hrebinka, Poltava region. In 2016, he graduated from the National Pedagogical University named after M.P. Dragomanov. He worked on the railway since 2018 as a cargo and baggage acceptance clerk in trains of the 3rd category at the Hrebinka station of the Poltava Railway Transport Directorate.

29-year-old Artem Fedorenko was killed on October 28, 2022, as a result of enemy artillery shelling near the settlement of Maiorsk in the Donetsk region, honorably fulfilling his military duty.

Colleagues remember Artem as a qualified, technically proficient, and responsible worker. He was balanced, reserved, and distinguished by high moral qualities.

On April 19, 2022, Artem was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He remained forever loyal to his oath, participating in the defense of the state.

His parents lost their only son.

The team of the Poltava Railway Transport Directorate of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" honors the memory of their colleague. The life of their only son, cut short at the peak of his potential, and his dedication to military duty is an unhealable wound for his parents and our entire railway family.
