Arthur ZANYUK
Arthur was born in Dnipro. He graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk College of Rocket and Space Engineering and was passionate about aerospace construction. On September 21, 2020, he began working as a second-class repair mechanic for rolling stock in the assembly shop at PJSC "Dnipropetrovsk Locomotive Repair Plant."
Soldier Arthur Zanyuk was killed on March 1, 2022, in the Kharkiv region. That night, he was on a combat mission and, together with a comrade, was blown up by a mine. The vehicle carrying the servicemen was transporting ammunition, which detonated on site. Arthur was only 23 years old.
During the full-scale invasion, Arthur served as a driver-grenadier in the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Cold Yar."
He was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage III class.
The fallen defender is survived by his father.
The team at PJSC "Dnipropetrovsk Locomotive Repair Plant" deeply mourns the irreparable loss of a young colleague. Arthur Zanyuk gave his life for Ukraine at the age of 23. We bow our heads in honor of his bravery and bright memory. Heroes never die!
