Bohdan SKRYVANYK
Bogdan was born in the village of Vil'shanka in the Zhytomyr region. In 2018, he joined the railway, working as a 3rd category contact network electrician at the Koziatyn power supply distance. He dedicated 5 years of his life to railway transport.
Colleagues remember Bogdan as an enthusiastic, disciplined, and responsible worker who actively participated in community activities. Outside of work, he enjoyed engaging in agricultural tasks.
On December 1, 2022, Bogdan enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he served as a combat vehicle commander, delivering devastating strikes against the occupiers.
Soldier Bogdan (also referred to as Mykola), commander of a combat vehicle in the mechanized battalion, was killed on August 18, 2023, while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine during a combat mission in the Donetsk region.
For his personal courage and selfless actions, he was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the 3rd degree.
Bogdan is survived by his mother and brother.
