Denys BEREZYUK
Denys Serhiyovych Berezyuk was born on January 21, 1987, in the village of Horodyshche. He spent his childhood here and attended the local school. After graduating from the 11th grade in 2004, he studied at a construction college in Kyiv, where he obtained the profession of a fitter and electric welder. He worked as a manual arc welder of the 3rd category in the repair and manufacturing parts section of the Shepetivka repair wagon depot, a branch of "UZ Vahon-Service" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." He dedicated 17 years of his life to the railway.
He grew up as a kind-hearted and hardworking young man. He loved physical education and sports, with a preference for football, and participated in competitions. He knew how to be a good friend and valued friendship, as he himself was a good companion. He was respected for his responsible attitude towards his duties, his sense of teamwork, kindness, empathy, fairness, and modesty. For his diligent work at the enterprise, his portrait was placed on the Honor Board of the department.
The life of 37-year-old Denys was cut short on January 4, 2025, near one of the settlements in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region due to a blast fragment injury.
