Dmytro Koshelets

Dmytro was born in the city of Volnovakha, Donetsk region, where he lived with his family. Continuing the family tradition of railway workers, in June 2021, Dmytro started working at the "Volnovakha Locomotive Depot" structural unit of the regional branch "Donetsk Railway" as a yard watchman. In October 2021, he was promoted to assistant locomotive driver in the locomotive operation shop of the main depot.

During his time in this position, he proved to be a disciplined, hardworking employee who held himself to high standards. Dmytro was respected in his team for his openness, humor, honesty, and kindness.

On March 1, 2022, Dmytro Serhiyovych was killed as a result of shelling in his hometown of Volnovakha.

Dmytro is survived by his family, which includes two sons and a daughter.

The team at the "Volnovakha Locomotive Depot" structural unit of the regional branch "Donetsk Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns this irreparable loss. Dmytro became an innocent victim of brutal aggression, but the memory of him as a bright person and devoted colleague will forever remain with us. Eternal memory!
