Dmytro LISOVSKYI

Dmytro was born in the city of Donetsk and spent his childhood and youth in the village of Zapillia in the Zhytomyr region. After graduating from Vinnytsia Transport College in 2021, he began his career in railway transport as a train dispatcher at the Korosten station of the "Station Operations Service" production unit of the regional branch "South-Western Railway" of the joint-stock company "Ukrainian Railways." He had three years of experience in the railway industry.

Colleagues remember him as a person with a big heart and strong spirit. He amazed his comrades first with his broad outlook and knowledge, and later with his bravery and courage. His cheerful disposition, willingness to help, and resilience will forever remain in their memories. His energy and determination inspired and united the team. He was sincere, open, kind, and a reliable friend, always striving to assist in any way possible. According to his comrades, he was someone you could always count on; "he fought like a lion and died like a hero." He dreamed of starting a family, but his life was cut short far too early.

Dmytro was conscripted for mandatory military service on October 8, 2021, and after completing it, he continued his military service in the assault troops in the summer of 2023, defending Ukraine.

On February 15, 2025, while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, Dmytro was killed during a combat mission in the Kharkiv direction.

For his personal courage and selfless actions, he was awarded the honorary badge "Cross of the Brave" from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the "Knight's Cross" from the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Dmytro is survived by his mother, grandfather, and beloved girlfriend.
