Dmytro PYLYPCHUK
Dmytro was born in the city of Zhmerinka, Vinnytsia region. He worked as an assistant locomotive engineer at the Zhmerinka locomotive depot. He dedicated his working life to the railway after graduating from the Zhmerinka Higher Vocational School.
On February 25, 2022, he was mobilized. He served as a senior machine gunner in the operational assignment company. Prior to this, he served in the military from 2016 to 2018.
27-year-old Senior Soldier Dmytro Pylypchuk was killed on September 12, 2022, in the vicinity of the village of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.
Colleagues remember Dmytro as demanding of himself, disciplined, principled, proactive, and a diligent worker and specialist in his field. He had an active life position and was always ready to help. His sister Daryna describes him as an "extraordinary person," a "man of his word," and a family man who defended the country since February 25.
Dmytro is survived by his mother and sister.
The team at the Zhmerinka Locomotive Depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" has lost its young Hero. His active life position and readiness to defend his homeland from the very first days will be an eternal memory of his sacrifice. Eternal Glory!
