Jalal ZALIYAN

Jalal Shaugiyovich was born in the city of Andijan, Uzbekistan. He dedicated his 29-year career to the paramilitary security of the Odesa railway. He worked as a fourth-class shooter in the paramilitary security team at the Kolosivka station. His colleagues knew him as a diligent, proactive, and hardworking employee who responded promptly and accurately to situations and actively fought against offenders and thieves of railway property.

On February 25, 2022, Jalal joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the mechanized troops, where he was an example of bravery and dedication for his comrades.

Jalal Shaugiyovich Zaliyan died on October 19, 2022, while participating in combat operations near the settlement of Nova-Kamianka in the Berislav district of the Kherson region.

Jalal is survived by an adult son.

The team of the Odesa paramilitary security unit of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns this irreparable loss. Our railway shooter, who protected cargo and property from thieves for 29 years, exchanged his professional weapon for a military one in the early days of the full-scale invasion. He bravely defended his homeland and died as a Hero. His courage, professionalism, and loyalty to the oath represent an indomitable spirit that we will preserve. Eternal memory and honor to our Hero!
