Ihor KOROL

Igor Myronovych Korol was born on September 7, 1976, in the village of Dashava, Striy community. He lived in the village of Konyukhiv, Hrabovetsko-Dulibiv community, and after getting married, moved with his family to the village of Hirne. He worked at the Striy Car Repair Plant since 2017 as a track fitter in the transport shop. His work experience in the railway sector totaled 6 years.

He was sincere, brave, decisive, responsible, friendly, and kind-hearted. Igor had a strong and resolute character, was respected and held in high regard by his colleagues, and was distinguished by his high moral qualities.

Igor was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation. He was mobilized on May 3, 2023. He served as a shooter in the separate rifle battalion of the Oleksa Dovbush Brigade. In February 2024, he was wounded near the settlement of Lobkove in the Zaporizhzhia region but continued his service.

Unfortunately, he was killed on December 27, 2024, in the settlement of Zelenе in the Donetsk region.

He was awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal.

We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Igor is survived by his wife and two daughters.
