Iryna BOROVYK

Iryna Borovyk was born in Svesa. She worked as a 3rd class security guard in the Kyiv detachment of the Departmental Military Security at the Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi railway station, responsible for the security of the station and the escort of passenger trains.

She was a responsible and disciplined employee, diligently and effectively fulfilling her duties.

37-year-old Iryna Borovyk was killed on August 25, 2024, as a result of missile strikes in the town of Svesa, Sumy region. The impact of aerial bombs damaged a multi-story building, causing Iryna to sustain injuries incompatible with life.

Iryna is survived by her son Artem. She was a caring and loving mother.

The team at the Kyiv detachment of the Departmental Military Security is deeply saddened by this horrific tragedy and extends heartfelt condolences to Iryna Borovyk's family and loved ones. The bright memory of our colleague, who became an innocent victim of Russian aggression, will forever remain in our hearts.
