Lyubomyr LUTSAK

Lyubomyr worked as a locksmith for the inspection and repair of locomotives of the 4th category at the Service and Technical Maintenance and Equipment Management of Electric Trains (from UZSHK).

He was always smiling, sincere, with an open heart, and had an incredible love for life and his homeland.

In the early days of the war, Lyubomyr voluntarily took up arms to defend Ukraine and bravely fought against the occupiers.

Lyubomyr Vasylovych Lutsak was killed on September 23, 2022, during battles near the Bakhmut district in Donetsk region. He was caught in an enemy artillery shelling, and the injuries he sustained were incompatible with life.

At home, his family was waiting for their defender: his mother, wife, daughter, and son.

The team at the Service and Technical Maintenance of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows its head in deep sorrow before the tragic fate of their colleague. The locksmith, who was cheerful, sincere, and loved life, went to the front as a volunteer and lost his life. His boundless love for his family and self-sacrifice is a pain that cannot be alleviated.
