Maxim ARCHUGOV
Maxim Archugov was born in the city of Volnovakha, Donetsk region. He graduated from the Volnovakha Vocational Technical School, specializing as a tractor driver-machine operator in agricultural production, a locksmith for the repair of agricultural machinery and equipment, and a driver of motor vehicles. In 2021, he began working on the railway as a station worker at the Volnovakha station of the regional branch "Donetsk Railway," with subsequent training as a train assembler.
In October of the same year, Maxim was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served his conscription in Zhytomyr. He served as a driver in the 1st assault squad of the 3rd assault platoon of the 2nd assault company of the 2nd assault battalion.
21-year-old soldier Maxim Archugov was killed on January 3, 2025, in the village of Hrakove, Kharkiv region.
Colleagues remember Maxim as a cheerful and open-hearted young man: "Maxim didn’t work at the station for even a month, but he established himself as a responsible worker, friendly, attentive, and balanced. He loved life." In a statement from the Zhytomyr City Council, it is noted: "Maxim was passionate about computer technology, was cheerful and kind-hearted. He had many friends, was the life of the party, dreamed of learning to play the guitar, starting a family, building a big house, and living in a peaceful Ukraine."
Maxim is survived by his parents and his beloved girlfriend. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
