Maksym MAKSYMCHAK
Maksym was born in Vinnytsia. After studying at a transport college and completing his degree at the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport (mechanical engineer) through distance learning, he worked on the railway. His entire professional career was connected with the Kyiv Center for Mechanization of Track Works, where he served as a driver of railway construction machines of the 6th category.
The full-scale invasion caught him at home, and despite having a deferment, on February 25, 2022, he did not hesitate to take up arms in defense of Ukraine. He served as a brave soldier. According to his comrades, he was skilled and courageous.
40-year-old Maksym Maksymchak was killed on October 18, 2022, in the Kherson direction.
Colleagues remember Maxim as "a bright person with a sincere soul and a kind heart, cheerful, positive, open, friendly, and caring. A true man." They emphasize: "He will forever be our Hero!"
Maxim is survived by his daughter Solomiia, mother, and sister.
The team at the Kyiv Center for Mechanization of Track Works of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" honors the memory of their colleague with indescribable pride and deep sorrow. Our mechanical engineer and driver, who was a true man and a bright soul of the team, went to the front without hesitation in the early days of the war, despite having a deferment. He fell as a skilled and courageous warrior. His bright smile, dedication to the homeland, and undying memory are our eternal duty. Eternal Glory!
