Oleg BALYNETS

Oleg was born in the village of Murovne, Vinnytsia region. In November 1993, he joined the railway family, becoming a shooter of the 4th category in the shooting team No. 3 at the Synelnykove station within the "Dnipro Military Guard." He dedicated 28 years of his life to the railway.

Colleagues remember him as a reliable friend and a true professional, the soul of the team, always ready to lend a helping hand. For his work, Oleg was awarded a Letter of Gratitude from the Head of the Dnipro Railway (2013) and the "Railway Glory III Class" badge (2016).

In June 2022, Oleg was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He remained faithful to his military oath until the end, defending his country with great courage.

Oleg Balynets was killed on July 23, 2022, in the liberation war against Russian invaders during combat operations in Donetsk region.

Oleg's mother is left without her loving son.

The team of the Dnipro Military Guard of the "Departmental Military Guard" branch of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns this irreparable loss. This devoted shooter, a professional with 28 years of experience who was the soul of the team and held the Railway Glory award, was mobilized. His courage and uncompromising loyalty to his oath will remain an indelible memory for the entire railway community. Eternal glory to our Hero.
