Oleg LAVRENCHENKO

Oleg was born in the village of Pustogorod in the Sumy region and lived in the village of Makove. He trained as an electric gas welder. He worked on the railway as a trackman of the 3rd category in the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi track distance.

Colleagues say that Oleg was very hardworking, responsible, brave, cheerful, and positive. His hobbies included motorcycles, and he planned to build a house for his family in the future.

On January 27, 2023, Oleg joined the ranks of defenders of his homeland without hesitation, serving in the legendary 95th Air Assault Brigade.

26-year-old soldier Oleg Lavrenchenko was killed on March 30, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission during the defense of the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region.

He was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the 3rd degree.

The fallen defender is survived by his wife.
