Oleksandr BEKETOV
Oleksandr Beketov was born in the village of Artemivka, Donetsk region. From 1983 to 1986, he studied at vocational school No. 9 and obtained the profession of "assistant locomotive driver." He began his career in railway transport in 1986 as an assistant locomotive driver at the Ilovaisk locomotive depot of the Donetsk railway. Since June 2019, he was employed at the branch "Center for Railway Infrastructure Diagnostics," where he worked as a 7th-grade motor car driver. His work experience in the railway sector exceeds 30 years.
After the full-scale invasion, on March 1, 2024, Oleksandr joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Oleksandr was killed on November 20, 2024, while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, demonstrating resilience and courage in the Kharkiv region.
Colleagues remember him as a dedicated, disciplined, and responsible worker with a great sense of humor. He quickly earned respect not only among his peers but also from older, more experienced employees.
Oleksandr is survived by his wife, Svitlana Volodymyrivna Olkhovska, and his minor son, Yegor. We express our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones.
