Oleksandr DALEKA
Oleksandr was born in the village of Bilka, Trostianets district, Sumy region. In 2008, he joined the railway family, becoming a sixth-grade driver of a weighing wagon at the "Poltava Branch" of the "Weighing Operator" division of the joint-stock company "Ukrainian Railways." He dedicated 17 years to the railway industry.
Colleagues remember him as a passionate, disciplined, and responsible worker with a great sense of humor. "Oleksandr completed his tasks on time and helped his colleagues," recalls his mentor, Serhii Sosidka.
Oleksandr was mobilized on March 4, 2024, into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served faithfully, bravely defending his homeland and giving a worthy response to the occupiers.
Unfortunately, on January 2, 2025, Oleksandr was killed while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine during a combat mission in the Kursk direction.
We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Oleksandr is survived by his elderly mother and sister.
The team at the "Weighing Operator" division mourns the irreparable loss. Eternal memory and honor to our colleague and hero.
