Oleksandr Koryliuk

Oleksandr dedicated over 35 years of his life to the railway. Since 1989, he worked as an electromechanic (repairing and servicing signaling and communication devices) at the Mykolaiv signaling and communication distance.

After the onset of the full-scale invasion, on June 9, 2022, Oleksandr voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

61-year-old Oleksandr Ivanovych Koryliuk was killed on December 18, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region from an explosive injury incompatible with life.

Colleagues remember Oleksandr as an excellent specialist, a sincere and reliable friend, and a wise mentor who always offered a helping hand. To his friends, he was a person with a huge kind heart.

Oleksandr was a good man and loved his family (wife Olha, daughter Kateryna).
