Oleksandr Lakhman
Oleksandr was born in the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region. In 2008, he graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk Professional Railway Lyceum, obtaining qualifications as a repair locksmith for rolling stock, assistant driver of a diesel locomotive, and assistant driver of an electric locomotive.
Professional path in the railway: O.S. Lakhman worked as an assistant driver of an electric locomotive in the locomotive operation section of the production unit "Lozova Locomotive Depot" of the regional branch "Southern Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" since December 7, 2016. He established himself as a disciplined, qualified, sincere, and conscientious colleague.
Military path: Oleksandr had previously served in the military from 2015 to 2016 and participated in the ATO. On the first day of the full-scale war, February 24, 2022, Oleksandr volunteered for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a senior gunner in the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade.
Soldier Oleksandr Lakhman was killed on March 25, 2022, defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine while carrying out a combat mission near Kharkiv in the settlement of Mala Rohan.
Oleksandr was responsible, fair, a pillar and support for his family, a loving father and husband. He was always ready to help and was a true patriot of his country. He enjoyed fishing.
We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Oleksandr is survived by his wife, a 12-year-old daughter, and an 8-year-old son.
