Oleksandr LAVRENIUK
Oleksandr Lavreniuk was born in the village of Petrivske (renamed Polishpakove) in the Odesa region. He lived in the village of Vyhoda. He worked as a driver of motor vehicles at the Passenger Car Depot of the Odesa-Glavna station, part of the "Passenger Company."
On September 4, 2024, Oleksandr joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade in a very dangerous and important area in Donetsk. He diligently fulfilled his civic duty to protect the freedom and integrity of our state.
34-year-old soldier Oleksandr Lavreniuk was killed on February 20, 2025, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Rozliv in Donetsk.
Oleksandr was a caring and kind person, actively participating in the community life of his team, earning the respect and authority of his colleagues.
The fallen defender is survived by his wife, who also works on the railway, and a daughter and son. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
The team at the Passenger Car Depot of the Odesa-Glavna station deeply mourns this irreparable loss. Eternal memory and honor to our colleague and Hero!
