Oleksandr Viktorovych Povelitsia, a track maintenance worker, died on October 24, 2023, in the village of Podoly, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, from a shrapnel wound incompatible with life due to a missile strike.

Oleksandr began his career at the Southern Railway in July 2021. He worked as a 3rd category track maintenance worker in the Kupiansk track maintenance unit, holding a vocational technical education.
