Oleksiy Arkhipov
Oleksiy was born in the town of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region and lived in the city of Snihurivka in Mykolaiv Oblast. He worked as a trackman of the 3rd category at the Usativska track machinery station of Ukrzaliznytsia.
The life of 31-year-old Oleksiy Arkhipov was tragically cut short on October 2, 2023, near the village of Chkalove in the Kherson region. The cause of death was multiple blast and shrapnel injuries sustained after the tractor he was driving hit a mine planted by the occupiers.
Friends remember Oleksiy as a good family man, a kind and compassionate friend who was always ready to help. He loved machinery and dreamed of becoming a driver of railway construction machines.
Oleksiy is survived by his wife and son.
The team at the Usativska track machinery station of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows their heads in profound sorrow in memory of Oleksiy Arkhipov. His kindness, humanity, and tragic fate will forever remain an open wound and a reminder of the crimes of the occupiers. May he rest in peace!
