Oleksiy BYELOUS

Oleksiy was born on August 4, 1992, in the village of Novoselivka, Donetsk region. Since September 2011, he worked as a gas-electric welder of the 4th category at the "Pokrovsk Railway Depot."

Colleagues remember Oleksiy as a compassionate, balanced, and friendly young professional who was always ready to help and actively participated in the life of the team. He listened attentively to the advice of his senior colleagues and maintained a high level of work discipline.

Oleksiy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine on May 2, 2023, serving in a motorized infantry battalion.

30-year-old soldier Oleksiy Serhiyovych Byelous was killed in action on July 25, 2023, during combat operations near the settlement of Druzhba in the Donetsk region.

For his bravery, Oleksiy was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree and the Order of the "Hero's Cross."

Oleksiy was unmarried and is survived by his mother and sister.

The team at the Pokrovsk Railway Depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" honors the memory of Oleksiy Belyous with a sense of sonly pain and pride. Glory and honor to the Hero!
