Oleksiy KOVALEVSKYI
Oleksiy Kovalevskyi lived in Kharkiv. He graduated from the local vocational and technical school No. 1. He worked as a plumber at the Kharkiv Clinical Hospital for Railway Transport No. 2, a branch of the "Health Protection Center" of Ukrzaliznytsia.
On May 26, 2024, Oleksiy was mobilized. He served as a rifleman-paramedic in the 2nd mechanized platoon of the 2nd mechanized military unit.
44-year-old Soldier Oleksiy Kovalevskyi was killed on August 15, 2024, in the territory of the village of Cherkaské Porechne in the Kursk region.
Friends remember Oleksiy as having a calm and balanced character; he was a good and reliable friend and comrade. Upon joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he stood bravely and honorably in defense of his homeland. He was a true patriot of his country.
Oleksiy is survived by his mother.
