Oleksiy Mokhov

Oleksiy was born in the village of Laryino in the Yaroslavl region. He worked on the railway for 6 years, serving as a fourth-class shooter in the military security team of Shepetivka, part of the Kozatyn military security unit. Colleagues recall that he quickly earned respect within the team and captivated everyone with interesting stories about his travels to the enchanting corners of Ukraine.

On February 1, 2023, Oleksiy joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in an airborne platoon and repeatedly engaged in firefights, eliminating the enemy.

Oleksiy Mokhov was killed on October 2, 2023, while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine during a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Oleksiy is survived by his parents, wife, and son.

The team of the Kozatyn military security unit of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns this irreparable loss. His dedication to the homeland is an eternal example of courage. Honor to the defender!
