Oleksiy PALII

Olexiy was born in the village of Hryhorivka, Nizhyn district, Chernihiv region. Since November 24, 2017, he worked as a track layer of the 3rd category in the production unit of the Romny track distance of the regional branch "Southern Railway" of JSC "Ukrainian Railways." On January 27, 2020, he was transferred to the production unit of the Konotop track distance of the regional branch "South-Western Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia," continuing his role as a track layer of the 3rd category.

During his time at work, he proved himself positively. He was a disciplined and responsible employee. Due to his attitude towards fulfilling his official duties and his relationships with colleagues, he earned respect and authority within the team.

On July 17, 2022, Olexiy joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a driver in the 3rd section of anti-tank missile systems in the 1st platoon of the 3rd company of anti-tank missile systems, he was an example of bravery and dedication for his comrades.

Olexiy was killed on November 11, 2024, while defending his homeland near the settlement of Karmazynivka in the Luhansk region from enemy shelling.

He was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.
