Oleksiy SLIUSARENKO

Oleksiy was born in the military settlement of Martynivske in Mykolaiv region. In 2011, he joined the railway and worked as a trackman of the 3rd category at the Voznesensk track distance. Colleagues remember him as a responsible, disciplined worker who diligently performed his duties and earned their respect.

In March 2021, Oleksiy signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to serve in the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after the Cossack Ataman Kosty Hordiienko.

45-year-old Chief Sergeant Oleksiy Sliusarenko was killed on March 27, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Kramove in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region. Until January 2024, he was considered missing in action.

Oleksiy is survived by his wife and daughter.
