Oleksiy STADNYK
Oleksiy was born on December 18, 1983. He graduated with honors from a railway vocational school and Vinnytsia Transport College, earning qualifications as a carpenter and mechanical engineer. He worked for 15 years on the railway as a fourth-category electrical repair technician at the Koziatyn locomotive depot.
Colleagues remember Oleksiy as a determined and responsible worker. Neighbors recounted that he was a master carpenter, and everything in his home and summer house was crafted by his "golden hands."
On the second day of the war, Oleksiy voluntarily went to the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support and was assigned as a shooter. He dreamed of a sovereign and independent Ukraine and gave his life for it.
39-year-old soldier Oleksiy Stadnyk was killed on July 4, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the town of Antonivka, Dnipro district, Kherson region.
The tragedy has deeply affected Oleksiy's family: his mother, Natalia, had three sons in the military, one of whom is in captivity, another is missing, and Oleksiy, who has fallen.
Oleksiy is survived by his mother Natalia, his wife Natalia, and his daughters, whom he raised: Nastia, Oleksandra, and Ksenia.
The team at the Koziatyn locomotive depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" pays tribute to the memory of Oleksiy Stadnyk. His determination, responsibility, and self-sacrifice will forever serve as a guiding light for our team. Eternal memory to the fallen warrior!
