Pavlo BARDADYM
Pavlo was born in Kyiv and obtained a higher education in "Applied Mathematics." For 13 years, he worked at Ukrzaliznytsia as a shift engineer of the 2nd category in the Main Information and Computing Center. Colleagues knew Pavlo as a highly professional, diligent, and responsible person who always kept his word and was ready to help. In civilian life, he actively engaged in sports and was a sincere, kind optimist who joked and concealed all difficulties from his loved ones.
From the first days of the full-scale invasion in March 2022, Pavlo voluntarily went to defend his homeland. He began his combat journey in the ranks of the Territorial Defense Forces and the 112th Brigade, participating in the defense of Kyiv region, identifying saboteurs, and repelling attacks from enemy reconnaissance groups. Later, becoming a machine gunner, he took part in battles for Kharkiv region. He received an offer and joined the Special Operations Forces, with which he defended Soledar. Since December 2022, he joined the legendary 93rd Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar," where he defended Bakhmut. He mastered almost all types of firearms.
35-year-old soldier Pavlo Bardadym, with the call sign "Chingiz," was killed on October 13, 2023, during an artillery shelling in a fierce battle near Klishchiivka in Donetsk region.
For his bravery, he was awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal and other honors. His loved ones remember him as a brave, fearless, and selfless warrior.
Pavlo is survived by his parents and wife.
