Pavlo PORTIAN

Pavlo Portian was born and lived in the village of Kam'yanka in the Sumy region. In 1999, he graduated from the specialized vocational school No. 22 in Zaporizhzhia with a degree in "Radio Equipment Installation." He worked as a guard at the Smorodynska railway distance of the regional branch "Southern Railway." He dedicated over 35 years to his work on the railway.

On May 6, 2024, Pavlo was mobilized. He served in a mechanized battalion.

52-year-old Junior Sergeant Pavlo Portian was killed in action on October 30, 2024, near the settlement of Serebryanka in the Donetsk region while carrying out a combat mission to detect and destroy enemy forces.

Acquaintances describe Pavlo Mykolaiovych as a kind and positive person, a caring father. Together with his wife, he dreamed of a happy future for their daughters, hoping to provide a good education for their younger daughter, Yuliia. To his colleagues, Pavlo was a reliable friend, remembered as a disciplined and responsible worker.

Pavlo is survived by his wife and daughters, Maryna and Yuliia. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
