Pavlo Skorodelov
Pavlo was born in the village of Novyi Svit in the Donetsk region and lived in the city of Krasnyi Lyman. He worked as a trackman of the 4th category on the Lyman railway line.
After the onset of the full-scale invasion, when his family was forced to move to Vinnytsia, Pavlo voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in November 2022. He underwent training in the United Kingdom and was then assigned as a sailor-operator in the 38th Marine Brigade, defending the country in the Kherson direction.
42-year-old sailor-operator Pavlo Skorodelov was killed on December 20, 2023, while performing a combat mission near the village of Krynkiv in the Kherson region. He was just four days shy of his 43rd birthday.
His wife, Kateryna, remembers Pavlo as cheerful, brave, kind, and hardworking. He loved his job at the Donetsk Railway and dreamed of planting a fruit orchard. His colleagues valued him as a responsible person, the best colleague, and a friend.
For his heroism, Pavlo Skorodelov was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.
He is survived by his wife and two children.
The team of the Lyman railway line of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows its head in deep sorrow and pride before Pavlo Skorodielov. His bravery, love for the Motherland, and ultimate sacrifice will forever be our symbol of honor. Eternal memory to the Warrior!
