Roman BILETSKYI
Roman was born in the Cherkasy region in the town of Verkhnyačka. He worked at the motor car depot in Hryshynivka, a branch of the "Suburban Passenger Company," as a locksmith for measuring instruments and automation (electromechanic) of the 5th category. He dedicated nearly 14 years to his work on the railway.
On February 25, 2022, Roman joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a machine gunner in the infantry division of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Konstantin Ostrozhsky.
51-year-old soldier Roman Biletskyi was killed on August 7, 2022, during an enemy shelling of the city of Bakhmut.
Those who knew him remember Roman as a kind, sincere, strong, and courageous man.
Roman is survived by his wife, Olena.
