Roman Sidorov
Roman was born in the city of Zaporizhzhia. After becoming a chef-pastry chef, he chose to work in the railway industry: he dedicated 11 years to the Public Joint Stock Company "Zaporizhzhia Electric Locomotive Repair Plant" (ZERZ), where he worked as an electrician repairing electrical equipment in the apparatus shop.
Roman served in the anti-aircraft artillery unit of the Reserve of the Armed Forces.
36-year-old senior soldier Roman Sidorov was killed on November 2, 2022, in the village of Poltavka, Zaporizhzhia region, while carrying out a combat mission. He sustained a mine-explosive injury that was incompatible with life.
Colleagues remember Roman as a friendly, communicative, and responsible specialist who constantly worked on improving his knowledge. He was an exemplary family man and a wonderful father.
Roman is survived by his wife and son.
The team at the Zaporizhzhia Electric Locomotive Repair Plant (ZERZ) of the Public Joint Stock Company "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns the memory of their colleague with deep sorrow. His tragic death from a mine-explosive injury is our shared pain, and his loyalty to the oath and protection of his family is an eternal feat. Eternal memory and honor to the defender!
