Serhiy ALFOROV
Serhiy Alforov was born in the village of Kolodne in the Zakarpattia region. He lived in the city of Lyubotyn in the Kharkiv region. He received a secondary education. For nearly 20 years, Sergiy worked on the railway. He was a 4th category track fitter at the "Kharkiv Track Distance" of the regional branch "Southern Railway."
On March 16, 2022, Serhiy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
51-year-old Sergiy Alfyorov died on January 18, 2024, while performing a combat mission in the area of the settlement of Rivnopil in the Donetsk region.
Colleagues knew Serhiy as a calm, kind, responsible, and disciplined worker, as well as a decent person. He was very curious, loved reading, studying history, and learning foreign languages.
Sergiy is survived by a brother.
The bright memory of Serhiy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Our team bows its head in honor of the Hero's feat. We will always remember him.
