Serhiy Andrusyk
Serhiy was born in the village of Kam'yanka in the Dnipropetrovsk region and lived in the village of Musiivka. After working as a meliorator on a collective farm, he joined the railway in June 2006 as a trackman for the Nikopol track section.
His wife Lyubov recalls that Serhiy was an excellent student in school, read a lot, and was interested in technical developments and space exploration. Together, they raised two sons, providing them with a good education. His wife witnessed the shelling when he was injured.
The 52-year-old railway worker Serhiy Andrusyk passed away on March 24, 2023, from injuries incompatible with life. He was severely wounded on March 10, 2023, during an enemy artillery shelling at his workplace on the railway section between Nikopol and Marhanets.
Serhiy is survived by his wife Lyubov, two sons (the elder Roman and the younger, who is serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine), and a grandson.
The team at the Nikopol track section of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" expresses deep sorrow over the tragic loss of Serhiy Andrusyk. His dedication to work and family remains an example for us. May our colleague's memory be eternal!
