Serhiy HODZ

Serhiy was born in the village of Vernyhorodok, Koziatyn district, Vinnytsia region. For three years, he worked on the railway as a fourth-class speed regulator and a fourth-class train assembler at the Koziatyn I station.

On March 23, 2023, Serhiy was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he honorably defended the country from the occupiers.

35-year-old soldier Serhiy Oleksandrovych Hodz died on November 10, 2023, during an airstrike in the vicinity of the settlement of Makarivka in the Donetsk region, protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Serhiy is survived by his wife and son.

The team at the Koziatyn I station of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows its heads in deep, sorrowful mourning for Serhiy Hodz. His courage, dedication to the Motherland, and heroic sacrifice will forever be our unbreakable symbol. Eternal memory and honor to the Hero!
