Serhiy KUKURUDZA

45-year-old Serhiy Kukurudza died on March 11, 2023, near the city of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region.

Serhiy was born and lived in the city of Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He dedicated 25 years to working on the railway, serving as an electrical engineer in the operation of distribution networks and the repair of overhead lines at the Pavlohrad electrical supply division.

Serhiy was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) from 2015 to 2016. On January 5, 2023, he once again took up arms to defend his homeland, serving as an artilleryman. His daughter Yuliya recalls that he was the "best on Earth," a "golden father," for whom family was everything. He never refused to help anyone and spent his free time engaged in construction and technical creativity.

45-year-old Serhiy Kukurudza died on March 11, 2023, near the city of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region, when half of his unit did not return from battle.

Serhiy is survived by his wife Olha and daughter Yuliya.
